Service Description

Don’t really know how to use a sewing machine but you’ve got an idea and want to jump in? I will consult with you on your project, advise on materials and sit with you and help you along the way. That includes helping you cut and mark pattern pieces, use the sewing machine and create projects from scratch. An example of an hour of this session will be practicing on a sewing machine or other relevant tool, making a mood board of images, sketching ideas, and/or discussing fabrics. You'll receive some foundation for doing work on your own, and we'll build the groundwork of your idea. Depending on the scope of your project, it may take multiple sessions. You can choose one hour, multiple, or a full day. Full days need to be discussed before booking. Concierge Service will take place at my studio in San Jose. Home services can be negotiated. This includes a limited number of calls and texts (like when you are at the fabric store and really need advice!) and can include field trips to fabric stores together. All machines and tools are provided but you must purchase your own fabrics and I will be on hand to answer questions by phone or email, though phone is better for understanding these complex problems.
