Post-Joann Fabric Store Map

Where to shop for fabric now that Joann Fabrics is closed? The mods of r/sewing on Reddit crowdsourced all the in-person fabric stores and created a specific Fabric Store map. Colored placemarkers note if the store is in-person, only-online or both. It's not just the United States-- looks like there are entries all over Europe, some in South America, Australia and Japan. I'm guessing this map will become more filled-in as word spread.

A post as of 6 days ago says they are still catching up on adding submissions to the map, so for now the new submission form is closed. You can keep going back to the original map to get updates if the submission form opens again. I know I see nothing in the entirety of India (where so much fabric is made) and poor Wyoming is completely empty on the map (people live there, right?)
The project started three years ago by the mods to put together a map with all the fabric stores-- not just the big box places. This post predates the closing of Jo-ann Fabrics by a few years. These people were certainly doing the good work, not just for artists but for all those small businesses that are having a harder time reaching their customers on this broken internet.
As for the San Jose fabric stores where you can buy in person, here's the list of places to go. I know for a fact there are some spots missing, mostly ones that cater to the Quinceañera crowd with fancy dress fabrics and decorative materials. I'm not completely sure if those also sell fabrics, but they come up in a search. Those might populate once the map makers are caught up. If not, it will be a good opportunity for me to take a field trip and check them out.
