Scrap Sculpture Workshop at Nooworks

Sculptor and designer Amy Brown brings sustainability and chaos together with a Year of the Snake scrap sculpture workshop on Sunday, June 22nd from 6pm-8pm at Nooworks in San Francisco. Using cut-offs and leftover fabrics from a sewing studio, create a beautiful, scrappy snake through an additive sculpture process. Participants are welcome to go off in their own directions- a snake could become a lizard or the letter S or a bracelet very easily! No sewing experience is required, but you may take some home with you. We use a wrapping technique to build a snake from bones to scales, using thread and brightly colored fabrics. 

This workshop is hosted by Nooworks in San Francisco-- a lovely company that hires artists to to design fabrics and manufactures size-inclusive, fun fashion.
